This is the second mass wedding organised and funded by christian life church. The first mass wedding consisted of 600 couples. The mass wedding hosted on this valentines day is bigger than the first one. tallies are still being taken to established the exact number. About 80 Mercedes Benz have been secured to transport the brides to the wedding venues. The grooms have already arrived at Christian life Church and are receiving and waiting for their brides as they are being transported from the saloon. 

    The senior pastor of Christian life church P5 Jackson Senyonga and 40 other Church leaders from different parts of the Country will be joining these couples in marriage a few moments from now.

Pastor Robert Kayanja  met the new president of Zimbabwe His excellency Emerson Mnangagwa, this month of January.  Ten years ago the archbishop of York John Sentamu, brother to the 77 days of glory senior pastor, vowed not wear his dog color until Mugabe was out of office.

  After the first mass wedding which involved 600 couples taking marriage vows last year at Christian life church in Kampala, which become the first largest mass wedding in Africa, Pastor Jackson Senyonga now invites any couple,  living together or planning to get married to register for an all funded legal church wedding this valentines day irrespective of your local church.

Whatever you financial status may be right now, Pastor Jackson Senyonga invites you to come to Christian life church, Makerere kavule Bombo Road as registrations are going every evening in the P5 Revival until Thursday this week.

All wedding requirement will be catered for by the church to the last coin.

    The church will extend financial help to all those who can not meet introduction or parent visiting requirements. God is bring healing and restoration to families.  Pastor Senyonga will be meeting all those that have registered this Friday at Christian church in the evening at 4:00 pm, to give them updates on the final wedding preparations.

President Museveni on Wednesday visited the five families in Bukomansimbi District that were attacked on the night of 31st December by unknown criminals, leaving four dead and injuring others.




Criminals armed with sticks and machetes on new year’s eve attacked Kabukolwa village in Kingo sub-county Lwengo district killing 23 year old Haman Kayemba Gonzaga, they later attacked Kyamabale village in Kibinge sub-county in Bukomansimbi district and murdered 65 years old retired Senior Sepretendant of Police Denis Lumala Sebugwawo, 40 year old Nantale Jane and 15 year old Bosco Selemba and injured a dozen more in the attack.




The president who was accompanied by IGP Kale Kayihura said he was saddened by the deaths. He donated ten million shillings to each of the four families who lost their loved ones. The president revealed that the security forces had got clues and shall catch the attackers. ‘‘Security is already following a trail of evidence and tips left behind by the criminals. ‘’ he added.
The President who later addressed a public rally at Kyamabale Primary school grounds in Kibinge sub-county told residents that there is a gap in security of incomplete investigations, but assured public that government is working to fix this. ‘‘The president said that government will overcome the wave of crime that characterized 2017 that cost the country many lives.’’




Mr. Museveni also called on parents to advise their children to stay away from crime because it will cause them harm. He vowed to arrest the attackers. Adding that ‘’ I will talk to the Chief justice not to give bail to such suspects.’’

President Museveni said that one of the homes that was attacked, the neighboring school had cameras and saw the criminals. The president said that government shall install cameras in towns and on major roads to fight crime ‘’this will hasten the process of investigations’’ he said.




Mr. Museveni revealed that government is going to work with the public to fight crime. ‘‘We fought other tougher wars like disarming the Karimojong who had 40,000 guns and we won.’’

The archbishop of york John Sentamu, also elder brother to Pastor Robert Kayanja of the 77 day of glory and author of the most distributed book on the holy spirit, cut his dog color in protest of president Mugabe's regime. He vowed then not to wear it again until president mugabe was out of office.

Presiding Apostle Dr. Joseph Serwadda and Bishop David Kiganda of Christianity Focus Ministries were on Friday said to be key witnesses in a case where House of Prayer Ministries founding Pastor, Aloysius Bugingo is accused of burning the Holy Bible.

The source that announced them said other witnesses expected in court over the same case include Pr. David Martin Sebuguzi, Ronald Mukiibi, Pr. Stephen Kaberuka and Bishop Joshua Murefu.

Nabweru court chief magistrate, Esther Nasambu who will preside over the case reportedly told the accused [Aloysius Bugingo] to file his defense in 15 days, on allegations of violating Christian’s freedom of worship by burning several versions of the Holy Bible.

Nasambu warned, according to the source, that should Bugingo fail to file his defense on or before the date, the plaintiffs; Kizza Aloysius Matovu, a former Dembe FM presenter now working with Kingdom TV and Christian book author Evangelist Francisco Semugooma will proceed with the suit and judgment will be delivered in his absentia.

The two Christians earlier this month rushed to Court through Wameli and Company Advocates seeking permission to file a representative suit on behalf of other believers, against Pr Bujingo.

Some Christians criticized the duo, urging that “A true christian is supposed to take such a case to God, not to an earthly court. It is God Himself to judge His people.”

As reported, Kizza Aloysius Matovu and Evangelist Francisco Semugooma want court to issue a permanent injunction, restraining Bugingo and his servants from further burning and destroying Bibles of several versions and making utterances, speeches, sermons or statements concerning the Holy Bible in a way that attacks, violets or insults their faith or religion.

They also want court to award them damages at a rate of 25 percent from the date of judgment until payment is done and costs of the suit.

Pastor Bugingo  – according to the court document – gathered several Holy Bibles of different versions, translations and languages with the word Holy Ghost or missing scriptures and advised his flock or followers who are ‘not strong’  to burn or destroy it.

Why Pastor Serwadda won’t testify against Bugingo

“I shall never stand in court to testify against anyone. I listened to Bugingo 4 years ago and concluded he has something wrong with his life and so i forgave him right there.” Pastor Serwadda said.” I took a calculated decision to never respond to his daily rants however hurtful and sickening they may be. I actually do not listen to him at all. When he burnt/threatened to burn bibles I was on a mission in Mexico.”

“If Mr Matovu and Mr Semugooma expected me to do so, they are mistaken and should quickly find someone else. I have no time for court. And definitely not where Bugingo is involved!” He added.

The last Pr Bugingo spoke in regard to this case

April 2017: Bugingo said in a statement to reporters that despite warning his congregation against “fake bibles,” he was in no way associated to images that surfaced on social media of bibles being burnt.

He said the accusations are the work of those against him, and urged that he could never do such a thing, hence had no attachment whatsoever to what media reporters alleged.

This website later learnt that the preacher had a meeting with the team from National Fellowship of Born Again Pentecostal Churches (NFBPC) (where some of the key witnesses testifying against him are party) over the matter.

A press statement from the umbrella organisation dated 23rd April, 2017 revealed that Pr Bugingo accepted to corporate and assured the clergy that he is not going to pursue controversies attained to the bible independently.
