The honor was given by ACCI Chief Executive Officer and president, Dr. Reuben Maitamuno Jaja introduced by the association Executive Director, Al Washington and Gregory Senegar and got for Museveni's sake by the Senior Presidential Advisor on Diaspora Affairs, Ambassador Nunnery Walusimbi.

"It is consequently settled that H.E Yoweri Museveni the President of the Republic of Uganda is therefore been offered the Africa-USA Chamber of Commerce and Industry's Pan African Renaissance Leadership Award for his resolute and powerful work of freeing the mentality of Africans around the planet by welcoming, inviting and encouraging the arrival of Pan African Diaspora to Africa."


Amb. Walusimbi hailed the Africa-US Chamber of Commerce and Industry for considering the colossal work and jobs played by President Museveni.


"This honor comes soon after the President has been reappointed for another term in office and with no uncertainty, he will additionally open his arms to get more African diasporas across the world just as agreeing them speculation openings in various areas," Walusimbi said.


Walusimbi noticed that the Ugandan government has guaranteed harmony and security win in the country and that this has therefore seen powerful monetary development for the country.
